Just might sell the ss
12/02/16 at 12:44:20

Well, I have been just kicking the idea around of selling my 90 454ss. The only reason really is to get something me and the wife later on will be able to jump in and tour the country a little bit. I am thinking 08 or newer zo6 really. I know the 454ss is an awesome truck and I love mine like its one of my kids. I won't go into all that's done to it unless the thread goes on pretty good. It's basically stock lowered and cleaned up pretty damn nice. So, if y'all wanna beat on me a bit I am good with what everyone thinks. To be honest it would be nice if I got my mind changed to keep her (Tulip)! Yeah Yeah my brother who painted her stuck that name to her!! lol

A couple more pics of the who knows how many I have. lol
I know the seats aren't the correct highback SS seats these are the ones that were there when I bought it so I just went with them. As far as motor goes it runs pretty good and strong for what they were. All I have really done was clean it up removed all smog stuff and had a chip burned which helped her a little bit. Its been lowered 4 in rear 2 in front, rearend is good i installed cal tracs last year which is a
massive traction improvement.

My plan was or is for a crate GM 502 or blueprint 496 motor. So what does everyone think a ballpark figure is for what she is worth just from seeing pics? The only leak is from rear main seal (typical) not a severe leak no exhaust smoke no lifter noise from motor.

there was a really nice example at Barrett Jackson this weekend that sold for $10,000. I thought that was a really low price for it and was all original and around 67,000 miles if I remember correctly.

They are all buyer dependent.  Have to get it in front of the right people.  Hard to say, could have it appraised and see what they say and then have documentation behind your asking price.  Does not guarantee that price though.

Yeah that's all true there rock. I wouldn't want a whole lot more than 10k for it if I decide to sell it.

Sweet SS. The right person would definitely pay a good price for it.
