Daughter Abby and I went on a car spotting trip and found this 1990 SS (real 14N truck, #11199 of 13748) with a stepside bed, 1994+ grille and no driving lamps hiding behind a shop in Pflugerville, Tx.

This is the 5th SS I've seen running around the Austin area in the past 14 years. I never got pics of any of the others. A couple are SWs trucks though.

Hey

    Hmmmmm,.... I'm thinking something must have happened to the original  bed. Pretty sure that they never made an SS from the factory  with the step side bed set up

They only came in fleetside, so someone either needed a replacement box and found this one or thought it looked more 'sporty'. I personally can't stand the looks of the step sides.
